Our journey began with Roz. With over 20 years of experience at the helm of large corporate finance teams. Roz’ interest grew after following in her fathers footsteps and joined the family business, which led to a training contract with a Top 10 accountancy practice and became ACA qualified.
Four years in audit gave a solid grounding for her future career, working across a range of different sized businesses and industries.. Key clients during this time included a £500m revenue construction group, listed entities and family run businesses and has since covered a range of entities from £1bn revenue to PE backed start-ups and turnaround situations.
This path ultimately led her to the realisation that her knowledge and expertise could have a profound impact with SME businesses seeking to thrive and flourish with a full finance team functionality, which would not be possible to access with in-house personnel.
Meet Roz
Roz never saw herself as an accountant….. a mad scientist, a translator traveling the globe, an astronaut perhaps but not an accountant.
However, after graduating and returning home for the summer she decided the family business needed some organising….Roz took on all the ‘back office’ tasks of finance, IT, HR and found her calling in Finance.
She qualified in audit and moved to various roles in industry working for a wide variety of companies in the construction, property development and marine engineering sectors from start-ups to private equity to £1 billion turnover main contractors, managing whole finance teams.
